Board Composition

Voyager Pickleball Club shall be administered by a Board of Directors

  • consisting of a minimum of 5 and maximum of 9 positions selected from a vote among the current board officers. 

  • Board membership terms shall be managed, whenever possible, so no more than 5 positions end in a single year.

  • Terms expire on September 30 of the appropriate club year (October 1 – September 30).

A nominating committee shall be appointed by the BOD in February for the purpose of identifying candidates. 

  • The nominating committee will request nominations for at least one (1) candidate for each open BOD position. 

  • A nominating committee will prepare a slate of candidates to be presented to, and evaluated by the board prior to the March BOD annual meeting.

  • Selection results will be announced at the March annual meeting and the newly appointed members of the BOD shall assume their duties on October 1.  

The members of the Board are made up of these positions.

  • President

  • Vice President

  • Secretary

  • Treasurer

  • Player Improvement Coordinator

  • Structured Play Coordinator

  • Social Coordinator

  • Tournament Coordinator

  • Court Maintenance Coordinator

No Board member shall serve more than two consecutive terms. A member shall be off the Board for at least one year after completing their final term before they can reapply for any Board position.  If in any year there are no volunteers, current members may serve additional years, one year at a time. 

If in any year, a Board position is vacant (or vacated), it is the responsibility of the President to:

  • allocate those duties to current Board membership until a replacement is approved. 

No household / RV shall have more than one individual on the Board.
